Terms of use

Last updated 6 October 2026

These terms cover buying and using Solair Pulse, a system monitor for the Mac sold by Solair.

Your licence

A purchase gives you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use Solair Pulse on Macs you own or control. You may not resell, redistribute or sublicense the app, or remove its notices.

Payment

Solair Pulse is a one-time purchase of $9, plus any tax shown at checkout. There is no subscription. Checkout is run by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record, and the refund terms are shown there before you pay.

A licence key is activated on a Mac and checked about once a week. If Pulse can’t check it for 30 days, it asks you to connect and check again.

What the app does to your Mac

Pulse measures and shows. It acts only when you ask it to, and asks you to confirm first:

  • Quitting. Quitting or force quitting an app or process closes it. Unsaved work in it can be lost; Pulse can’t tell whether there is any. It doesn’t offer to quit macOS’s own processes or another user’s.
  • Clean Up. Items you select are moved to the Trash, not deleted, and each is checked again just before it moves. Look at what you select: caches rebuild themselves, but build output, installers and agent logs may take time or work to get back.
  • Startup items. Disabling one of your own launch agents stops it and tells macOS not to start it again. Enable turns it back on.
  • Menu bar plugins. Plugins you add are programs you chose, and run with your permissions.
  • Stopping servers and containers. Stopping a development server or a container ends its work. Data that wasn’t saved may be lost.

Updates

We may release updates that fix problems or add features. Updates are offered, never installed without your say.

No warranty

Solair Pulse is provided as is. Readings come from what macOS and your hardware report and can be incomplete or wrong on some Macs. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those that can’t be excluded, and our total liability for any claim about the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Names and trademarks

Activity Monitor, Mac and macOS are trademarks of Apple Inc. Solair Pulse is not affiliated with Apple. Other product names, including the apps shown in screenshots and the demo, belong to their owners and appear only to describe what Pulse shows.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with its date. The terms in place when you bought the app keep applying to that purchase.
